Snowy Mountain Outfitters Winter Adventure

  Deep snow, powder, many play meadows, a combined 264 miles of groomed trails and a combined 245 miles of ungroomed trails equals more fun than adults should be able to have. Snowy Mountain Outfitters is permitted outfitter for both the Snowy Mountain Range and the Sierra Madre range. We accommodate our clients with snowmobile delivery and pickup on either mountain range. Clients can rent our snowmobiles for either guided or unguided trips. The Snowy Mountain Range has the capacity for all levels of snowmobilers. Snowmobilers have 5 different facilities they can snowmobile to for warmth, food, beverage and fuel. With 160 miles of groomed trails, 141 miles of ungroomed trails and more off trail adventure than you could possible snowmobile in 4 days makes the Snowy Mountain Range an enjoyable experience for all levels and ages. The Sierra Madre Range is for the more experienced snowmobiler. The Sierra’s have considerably less traffic and no facilities. But what the Sierra’s lack in convenience, is enhanced through beauty and scenery. It’s possible to snowmobile from the launch site just west of Encampment to Steamboat Springs Colorado. Overnight trips start with your stay in Saratoga, snowmobiling to Steamboat Springs, over night accommodations, and snowmobiling back makes for a memorable winter adventure. The Sierra’s have 104 miles of groomed trails and 141 miles of ungroomed trails with many play meadows. Experience and common sense are recommended. If you’ve never sledded the Sierra’s before, we recommend you utilize a guide first.
